Washington, Aug. 24 (BridgeNews) - The percentage of domestic banks tightening their commercial and industrial lending standards continued to retreat in the last three months but remained elevated, the Federal Reserve reported. However, more than 40% of banks reported tighter standards for commercial real estate loans and more banks reported weaker demand for such loans, the Fed said.
